Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, management, and other key customer contacts. Actively promote and represent the brand and product advantages to retail teams and customers. Utilize the customer relationship management system to log sales interactions and store visits. Organize promotional events to showcase products and drive sales growth. Ensure successful execution of in-store promotions and business initiatives. Prepare monthly performance reports for the Regional Sales Manager, detailing sales achievements, training activities, and in-store initiatives that meet or exceed targets. Develop and manage partnerships across the customer network, including regular formal meetings with Store Unit Managers as directed. Ensure the Sherwin-Williams brands are effectively represented across the customer base.Training Responsibilities
Conduct product knowledge training sessions for all retail teams, covering features, benefits, and selling techniques, including product demonstrations. Provide sales training for both existing and newly hired retail staff. Educate store teams on equipment usage, in-store excellence, and maintenance practices.Service Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for service enhancements and upselling, maximizing resources at the store level. Assist store teams with customer service tasks, including paint mixing and tinting as required. Conduct regular reviews of all products to ensure shelves are fully stocked and items are displayed correctly, replacing any damaged products.Merchandising and Display Responsibilities
Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, and color collateral. Order necessary inventory of promotional materials to ensure adequate stock levels.Additional Responsibilities
Provide regional support as needed. Participate in required conference calls. Attend local and national training sessions as required. Join regional and national sales meetings. Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or merchandising. Experience in coaching or mentoring others is advantageous. Retail experience is essential. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including two Saturdays per month and public holidays.
