About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also overseeing the effective implementation of care and independence programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and care for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programs, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Manage shift patterns on a rota basis, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Line manage a small staff team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies.
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure, managing challenging behaviors and situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development, with a willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
