About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Manager to join our Oncology Team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive their treatment and appointments in line with national cancer targets.

As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining administrative processes to support patient pathways and supporting the day-to-day operational running of the service. You will work closely with our senior management team to achieve our strategic objectives and contribute to the development of our service.

Main Duties of the Job

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing teams and supervising staff
  • Validating and managing waiting lists
  • Implementing change management initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with NHS Access targets
  • Providing excellent customer care and interpersonal skills

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Significant administrative experience
  • Experience of working in a supervisory capacity
  • Proven experience in validation and waiting list management
  • Proven experience and success of change management
  • Understanding of the acute trust environment and the obstacles in achieving Trust priorities
