About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Counselling Manager to lead our CrossReach Counselling team in Glasgow City Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the leadership and development of our diverse service, ensuring high-quality counselling/therapy and adherence to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and provide clinical and management supervision to your team.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained using approved systems and processes.
  • Manage partnerships with other professionals, particularly in relation to client risk.
  • Comply with legislative, ethical policy, and COSCA requirements, including Child and Adult Safeguarding and Protection and Data Protection legislation.
  • Carry a small caseload and develop and deliver training opportunities within the service.
  • Ensure COSCA Service Recognition standards are met.
Requirements
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • PSA/HPC registration.
  • Diploma in Counselling or relevant qualification.
  • Significant post-qualifying practice hours.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills.
  • Previous experience in the Social Work, Health, Education, or Voluntary Sector.
  • ACTO-approved online counselling qualification or BACP online competencies.
  • Recognised qualification in Children and Young People Counselling or BACP/COSCA CYP competencies.
