Position Summary: We are in search of a seasoned and proactive Head of Research to spearhead our Crypto Analyst/Research team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the Crypto/Web3 landscape and a solid history in financial research.

In the role of Head of Research, you will be tasked with delivering thorough market evaluations, crafting innovative analytical approaches, and offering strategic insights to clients, traders, and analysts. Additionally, you will oversee a team of analysts to guarantee the production of high-caliber research and to guide the strategic direction of our research efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Weekly Market Summaries

  • Compile and disseminate detailed weekly overviews of cryptocurrency market activities.
  • Emphasize significant price fluctuations, trends, regulatory changes, and pivotal events affecting the industry.

Monthly Analytical Reports

  • Author and supervise the creation of comprehensive monthly reports that provide in-depth analysis of market trends, sector performance, and future forecasts.
  • Offer insights regarding investment prospects and potential risks within the cryptocurrency domain.

Client and Internal Insights

  • Provide actionable analytics and market insights to clients, traders, and internal teams.
  • Develop and present data-driven recommendations and strategic guidance to facilitate informed decision-making.

Innovative Analytical Techniques

  • Investigate and apply new relationships and analytical techniques for assessing altcoins and major cap assets.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Coordinate research initiatives, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery of insights.

  • Extensive experience in financial research, particularly within crypto/Web3 markets.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with a profound understanding of crypto market dynamics and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team of analysts.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, blockchain technology, and financial modeling software.
  • Ability to identify and leverage emerging trends and investment opportunities in the crypto sector.
  • Highly motivated and capable of handling both routine and complex tasks.
  • A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and high expectations.
