Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team at Crypto. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trading platforms and providing top-notch support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production system issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime for our users.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including development teams and product owners, to ensure effective delivery of supporting services to our users.
  • Knowledge Management: Document knowledge articles and manage the team's knowledge base, sharing and promoting overall knowledge level to ensure seamless handovers and onboarding of new team members.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with the team manager to refine and streamline day-to-day operations, identifying areas for automation and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and services.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 2-5 years of experience in application support or application development, with a strong understanding of Linux environments, cloud computing, and relational databases.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with ITSM platforms, knowledge of Redis and log queries, and experience administering multiple monitoring systems.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Ruby, Python, Java, and/or GoLang.
  • Database Management: Experience with relational databases and database queries.
