Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Focus Resourcing. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in developing our clients' services and technologies in cloud accounting and virtual finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present management accounts and VAT returns, as well as consolidated financial reporting packs.
  • Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret performance against key performance indicators, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Client Support: Assist clients in implementing accounting systems and solutions, and provide support with cloud accounting software.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise junior colleagues and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Communication: Respond to client queries and provide clear and concise communication on a range of issues.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Experience: Experience with cloud accounting software and associated applications (Xero, QBO, Dext), as well as experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines.
