**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious accountant to join our team at James Cowper Kreston. As a Management Accountant/Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in helping us develop our cloud accounting and virtual finance services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and review management accounts and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and present management reporting, including analysis and interpretation of performance against key performance indicators.
- Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packs, providing valuable insights to our clients.
- Work with clients to implement accounting systems and solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Coach and supervise junior colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Respond to client queries on a range of financial matters, providing expert guidance and support.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional client service, driving business growth and success.
**Requirements**
- Experience with cloud accounting software and associated applications (Xero, QBO, Dext).
- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly-qualified, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
- Proven experience working within an accountancy practice, with a focus on cloud accounting and financial services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in producing management accounts and supporting working papers, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
