We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of person-centred care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring residents receive tailored support and care.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents, engaging in activities that promote their wellbeing and quality of life.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in care and support.
- Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting, with a focus on dementia care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
