Role Summary: In the capacity of Senior Project Coordinator at Square Metre Flooring, you will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from preliminary site assessments to final project delivery. Your role will be pivotal in assessing project needs, comprehending the necessary materials, and ensuring flawless execution. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in driving project success and maintaining our high standards of quality.

Key Duties:

  • Perform site evaluations to determine project specifications and provide precise assessments.
  • Formulate project plans, timelines, and budgets in partnership with clients and the project team.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely provision of materials and services.
  • Supervise the installation process, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks and project requirements.
  • Manage project timelines, monitor progress, and resolve any challenges that may arise.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, offering updates and addressing any inquiries.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all project sites.
  • Keep accurate project documentation and records.
  • Coordinate with the estimating team to facilitate a seamless transition of client quotations and project specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction or flooring sector.
  • Strong knowledge of wood flooring materials and installation techniques.
  • Capability to conduct comprehensive site evaluations and assess project needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Authorized to work in the UK.
