The Opportunity

We are seeking a Design Manager to join our team in the UK&I Waste and Generation sector. This is an expanding market with multiple clients across the UK and wider. The sector is driven by surging demand, stricter regulations, and ambitious net-zero goals, leading to groundbreaking innovation.

As a Design Manager, you will partner with clients to lead the development of innovative and sustainable solutions that address industry-wide challenges in efficiency and environmental impact. You will oversee the Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design processes for waste to energy systems, digestion, and power generation projects, as well as hydrogen projects. We are involved in new-build, refurbishments, upgrades, and retro-fit projects.

About You

You will ideally be qualified with a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering (or related field). You will have strong experience in the Waste and Generation sector with a background in Civil, Process, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

You will be a proactive individual with knowledge and experience of the energy industry. You will be engaged in the engineering community and understand how to drive success for our clients, including understanding innovative solutions and industry best practices.

You will have proven experience in the design management of Waste and Generation projects from concept to completion and have an in-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
