Role Overview

Turner & Townsend is on the lookout for a skilled Programme Director to enhance our team. In this position, you will oversee and manage extensive programmes, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with contractual obligations. The Programme Director should possess experience in handling multiple projects within a complex programme, effectively balancing both technical and managerial responsibilities. Prior experience at the Principal Project Manager level is essential, along with proficiency in operations management and meeting client goals.

  • Serves as the primary liaison with clients and subcontractors throughout the programme lifecycle
  • Supervises the creation of essential project documentation and ensures compliance with delivery standards
  • Plans, directs, and oversees all programme functions, assigning tasks and mobilizing resources as necessary
  • Collaborates with various teams to formulate budgets, timelines, and action strategies to guarantee project success
  • Encourages technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance protocols and monitors project advancement

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience at the Programme Executive Level
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or a related discipline
  • Prior project management experience on large-scale programmes
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
  • Senior accreditation from a recognized professional body

Preferred Skills:

Experience in complex multi-stakeholder settingsProven track record in senior management roles with outstanding communication abilitiesAwareness of current innovation trends relevant to effective programme/project management
