Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our Management Accounts team, you will be responsible for leading financial processes, managing stakeholders, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end activities, including accounting processes, journal entries, and analysis.
- Manage stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to deliver accurate reporting and analysis.
- Implement effective internal control frameworks, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and work collaboratively to standardize and automate processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Qualified Accountant, or Audit Manager with Management Accounts experience.
- Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.) and a degree of post-qualified experience.
- Coaching and development of less experienced finance and accounting colleagues.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial systems skills (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
