Senior Project Engineer (Process Engineering Focus) - Staff Position
Join a dynamic engineering firm that is experiencing significant growth while supporting the Renewable Energy and Hydrocarbon industries. We are seeking experienced Project Engineers to oversee various project packages, ideally with a background in Process Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary liaison for the client, managing the execution of work packages by the FEED contractor.
  2. Oversee the delivery of process-licensed packages, including Gasification, Syngas Cleanup, and Power & Utilities.
  3. Conduct technical evaluations to identify gaps in the scope of work provided by the FEED contractor.
  4. Provide on-site technical guidance and project management services.
  5. Ensure the quality of subcontractor designs aligns with the established client specifications.
  6. Develop budget estimates and cash flow forecasts for projects.
  7. Plan, organize, and monitor progress on engineering initiatives.
  8. Foster and enhance relationships with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Manage health, safety, and environmental (HSE) issues in accordance with client policies.
  10. Prepare progress reports and facilitate meetings with clients and internal teams.
  11. Review project deliverables, including drawings, schedules, datasheets, and specifications.
  12. Contribute to engineering design and assessment, ensuring alignment with client expectations while supporting team members.
  13. Participate in HAZOP and HAZID sessions as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  1. A degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required; chartered status is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. A background in Process Engineering is advantageous but not essential.
  3. Experience in design projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Renewable Energy sectors is preferred.
  4. Experience in other major energy sectors, such as Energy from Waste, is also beneficial.
  5. Previous site experience combined with a design background is an asset.
