About the Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department of a leading industrial company. This position will be responsible for providing insightful financial planning and analysis to aid in key decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  2. Produce variance analysis against forecasts, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for process enhancements.
  3. Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision making.
  4. Evaluate and rank profitability, producing performance reports that provide actionable insights.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business strategy.
  6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and analysis.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  1. Professional accounting certification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  2. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with experience in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
  4. Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
