About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Analyst to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Planning and Service Management function, you will play a critical role in enhancing our critical resource related decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve and enhance working practices across the Planning and Service Management function by examining data sources, removing blockages, and facilitating improvements to the management information used to run the business.
  • Collaborate with business leads and Capacity Planners, Aviva Business Intelligence teams, and Expense Managers to improve the way actionable insight is used.
  • Work with colleagues to develop data management processes and support budget planning for the UK Life Business.
  • Support key operational Programmes working with senior leaders to influence change and help safeguard the business.
Requirements
  • Proficient in using MS Office Excel.
  • Solid numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyse, interpret and manage information, data, and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to relay information to senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and be able to work as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • National starting salary circa £33,000, London starting salary circa £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
