Position Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to become part of a well-established team at one of our operational sites. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set, demonstrating a strong mechanical background while also being adept in building controls and structural maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a mechanically skilled engineer with a robust understanding of booster pumps, building services including water, gas, heating, ventilation, and waste management, as well as BMS monitoring systems and planned preventative maintenance.
- Exhibit a flexible mindset with a proactive approach, willing to extend beyond primary skill sets to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Commit to ongoing training as mandated by the position and the Technical Services Manager.
- Maintain administrative proficiency to oversee both digital and physical records for mandatory inspections and testing.
- Demonstrate the ability to respond and operate independently within an on-call framework.
- Be adaptable to work across various sites as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- City & Guilds certification in plumbing or mechanical engineering.
- Proven strong fault-finding capabilities.
- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Collaborative team player.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
- Proficient in IT applications.
- Valid driving license.
- Security Clearance is advantageous.
