Job Summary

We're seeking a talented individual to join our ABS Training and Development team as an Audit Training and Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with all stakeholders, including the Training and Development Lead, to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant training and that feedback is taken into account.
  • Prepare proposals for developing training, attend all relevant internal meetings and training sessions, and develop a network of contacts.
  • Manage/co-manage a limited portfolio of audit clients to maintain knowledge and experience of current practices and issues.
Requirements
  • Qualified by experience (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics, and their application.
Desired Skills
  • Previous experience in developing and delivering practical training.
  • A strong appetite to see people develop and improve audit quality.
  • Ability to develop and present practical audit content at a high level, responsive to the needs of the business.
