Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Education SupportJob Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our teaching team in delivering high-quality education to students. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering educational activities and supporting students with their learning and development.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation.
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom materials, ensuring a well-organized and effective learning space.
  • Supervise students during lessons and break times, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Requirements:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role. You will also need to have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification is desirable, but not essential.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, collaborating closely with teachers and students. The position may require occasional additional hours beyond the standard school day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
