The CFO Role

The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, leading the finance function and driving financial strategies that enhance growth and profitability. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will provide invaluable commercial, financial, and operational insights to ensure the company's objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead a small but highly skilled finance team, optimizing financial and IT systems for peak efficiency.
  • Ensure robust financial controls are in place to support the company's ongoing growth and expansion.
  • Partner closely with the CEO to identify and acquire new business opportunities, establishing clear and measurable criteria to evaluate potential locations.
  • Drive executive-level strategy through comprehensive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with significant experience in a CFO or Finance Director role.
  • Have a proven track record of driving financial growth and profitability in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
  • Be a hands-on leader with a keen eye for detail and considerable technical and commercial awareness.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including the unique challenges and opportunities associated with new site rollouts and managing supplier payment processes.
