We are collaborating with a reputable manufacturing organization located in Norfolk, seeking to appoint a Facilities Maintenance Leader to join their expanding team. This company is recognized for its commitment to excellence and its positive impact on environmental safety, aiming to further enhance its market presence.
The successful candidate will oversee the site’s maintenance operations, ensuring both reactive and proactive multi-skilled maintenance services are delivered for all operational machinery and facility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of a best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Create and manage a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring comprehensive preventative maintenance is performed.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing maintenance team to achieve set objectives.
- Prepare the annual maintenance budget and forecasts, including all capital expenditure proposals, while ensuring adherence to legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven management experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in Chemicals, Renewables, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, or Manufacturing.
- Experience in various technical fields along with strong people management and project leadership capabilities.
- A solid foundation in Mechanical engineering.
