Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

Procurement Heads is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Supply Chain to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for transforming the supply chain for approximately £70 million of retail goods, including merchandise, food, and beverage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in a B2C environment, particularly in the hospitality and leisure industry. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is required. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within supply chain management is essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will also have strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable supply chain strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the supply chain remains competitive and adaptable to changing market conditions.
  • Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and track the performance of the supply chain function.
  • Implement process improvements and optimisation initiatives to streamline operations and increase productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Inventory Control: Optimise inventory levels to balance the needs of customer demand and working capital requirements.
  • Implement inventory management systems and processes to accurately track inventory levels, minimise stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, quality issues, and geopolitical factors.
Requirements:
  • Supply chain experience from a B2C environment, particularly in the hospitality and leisure industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within supply chain management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
  • Salary £80-£90,000 and bonus up to 20%.
