Job Title: Support Worker Full Time Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Broom Cottage, a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities or autism. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and promoting independence for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as washing, toileting, and medication management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to St Andrew's Healthcare values and policies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role, or willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity
