About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Property team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our estate, including liaison and lease negotiations with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders to negotiate and manage property agreements, including renewals, rates valuations, and other associated property matters.
  • Verify and update property-related data in our Trust property database, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Represent the Trust at tenant or equivalent committees across all community sites, reviewing space utilization and occupancy agreements to optimize estate utilization.
  • Act as head tenant for staff residential accommodation, agreeing terms, monitoring service contracts, and ensuring safe and compliant living quarters.

Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a management/leadership role, preferably in property management or a related field.
  • Property management knowledge, whether as an NHS tenant or commercial landlord.
  • Experience of facilitating change in practice to improve services.
  • Project management/co-ordination skills, including responsibility for a budget.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification or significant experience of working at degree level.
  • Management/leadership qualification or equivalent knowledge at postgraduate level.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Driving license and own access to a vehicle.
