About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the liaison and lease negotiations for new property agreements, as well as renewals, rates valuations, and all associated property matters with NHS landlords, private landlords, and other private or public bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify all property-related data and update the Trust property database.
  • Act as head tenant in relation to staff residential accommodation, agreeing terms, monitoring service contracts, and ensuring safe and compliant living quarters.
  • Represent all ESNEFT matters at Tenant or equivalent committees across all community sites in conjunction with landlords, review space utilization and occupancy agreements to ensure all estate is utilized to its optimum.

Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a management/leadership role.
  • Property management knowledge; whether as NHS Tenant or commercial landlord.
  • Experience of facilitating change in practice to improve services.
  • Project management/co-ordination.
  • Responsibility for a budget.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification or significant experience of working at degree level.
  • Management/leadership qualification or equivalent knowledge at postgraduate level.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Driving license and own (access to) a vehicle.
