About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hafan Saff, a provider of Children and Young Persons Residential Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-18 in their transition from care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people.
  • Provide individualized support to young people, helping them to achieve their goals and develop life skills.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the needs of young people are met.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home and grounds.
  • Participate in staff meetings and supervision sessions, and attend training as required.

  • A competitive salary of £11.92 per hour, equivalent to £26,263.44 per annum.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people, ideally in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
