About the Opportunity

Driscoll's, a global berry company, is seeking a highly skilled Customer Development Manager to lead the launch of its brand in the UK market. As a key member of the Customer Development Team, you will be responsible for building and executing joint business plans with partner wholesalers, creating a world-class wholesaler engagement plan, and driving new business through existing wholesale customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with partner wholesalers to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Create a comprehensive wholesaler engagement plan to foster strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Design and implement trade marketing initiatives to promote Driscoll's brand and products to existing wholesale customers.
  • Manage key stakeholders at Brakes and Compass to ensure Driscoll's is front of mind and drives business growth.
  • Win listings in Compass and execute plans to drive sales and growth at site level.
  • Lead a team to drive new business and growth through partner RTMs.

  • Sales capability: ability to explain the power of berries to a range of business types and channel owners/operators.
  • Ability to prepare a well-structured sales pitch deck to talk to all routes to market owners, category managers, sales teams within, and their existing and prospect customer base.

  • Strategic mindset: analytical with data, draws out key and relevant insights, and determines the viability or strategic importance of a new channel or outlet.
