Children North East is a leading children's charity in the North East region, working to ensure that all babies, children, and young people have the opportunity to grow up happy and healthy.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Academic and Operations Officer, where you will play a key role in driving forward our current work, influencing and campaigning, and leading on new operational developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting babies, children, and young people to have a voice in the work that we do at CNE.
  • Developing, implementing, and leading on our training offer, including in-house online packages.
  • Leading on new operational developments, including research, scoping, pilots, and evaluation.
  • Driving forward our current work, regionally and nationally, through stakeholder engagement, scoping new geographical areas for development, and actively selling our work.
  • Influencing and campaigning, working alongside policy/campaigning led by CNE, influencing external networks and systems.
Working with the Team

You will create good working relationships with your senior leaders and Operational Leads, and you will have a whole charity approach to the work required.
