The Role: Shift Manager

As a Shift Manager, you'll play a vital role in our Birmingham Transport branch, overseeing daily operations and leading a team of dedicated professionals. You'll be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery and collection services, maintaining high customer satisfaction standards, and upholding Loomis' commitment to security and integrity.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily branch operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Supervise a team of Delivery Drivers and Vault Operatives, providing guidance, support, and training.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed meticulously, adhering to strict security protocols.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships, addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively.
  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

About You:

We're seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in cash handling or transportation operations. You possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Your commitment to customer service excellence and ability to motivate and guide a team are essential qualities for success.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Shift Manager or similar role in a cash handling environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass criminal record, personal credit, and ID checks.
