About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Loomis UK. As a Shift Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cash handling services, overseeing a team of delivery drivers and vault operatives to ensure safe and efficient delivery and collection of cash.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the branch, including delivery and collection of cash
  • Lead and motivate a team of delivery drivers and vault operatives to ensure high levels of customer service and quality
  • Monitor and control branch expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Shift Manager or similar role in a cash handling or transportation environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
