About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Analyst to join our Ceded Reinsurance team at Allied World. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the administrative processes of the Ceded Reinsurance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reinsurance Submission Preparation: Assist in preparing reinsurance submissions, including gathering data from various departments and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Treaty Placement Process: Work closely with the VP Ceded Re in the London UK office to ensure seamless treaty placement process.
  • Facultative Claims Noticing: Support individual facultative claims noticing and review facultative underwriting summaries.
  • Document Coordination: Assist in coordinating the availability of documents and timing for claims, underwriting, transactional, and Ceded Re audits.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Assist in preparing regulatory reporting requirements for multiple jurisdictions globally.
  • Treaty Premium Adjustments: Review treaty premium adjustments to ensure proper reconciliation with amounts owed.
  • Contract Wordings: Coordinate and track execution of contract wordings to full completion and maintain electronic filing archive.
  • Reinsurance Resume: Maintain reinsurance resume document that provides historical detail of terms treaties previously written.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. in Business, Math, or related major preferred.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years insurance or finance related experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional MS Office skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and quantitative skills.
  • Other: Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work with various internal constituents.
