Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Analyst to join our team at Insight Recruitment Solutions Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Reinsurance Officer in various tasks related to reinsurance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our business' Managing General Agents (MGAs), brokers, and reinsurers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collateral Calculations: Take the lead in completing quarterly collateral calculations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on reinsurance markets to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Data Gathering: Gather data to support reinsurance placements and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Contract Review: Review proportional and non-proportional reinsurance contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to reinsurers and brokers, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Strategy Development: Assist in the development of the reinsurance strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a ceded reinsurance or related function.
  • Understanding of complex outwards reinsurance programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
