Job Title: Adult Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Advanced Practitioner to join our team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients in their own homes, utilizing advanced assessment, critical thinking, and clinical management skills.
  • Work autonomously as an independent Non-Medical Prescriber, making informed decisions to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to promote clinical excellence and seamless service delivery.
  • Manage staff performance, training, and supervision of trainee Advanced Practitioners.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Based Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
  • Registered Independent Non-Medical Prescriber.
  • Teaching, supervision, and assessment skills.
  • Leadership Qualification.
  • Up-to-date Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
  • Substantial post-registration experience in Emergency/Acute/General Medicine Care.
Personal Qualities:
  • Reflective Practitioner with research-based practice.
  • Autonomous qualities to work confidently as a lone practitioner.
