About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Lead to join our team at Quilter. As a key member of our Data Platform team, you will be responsible for shaping the future roadmap of our Data Platform and driving the development of high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of data ingestion, storage, processing, and integration solutions using Quilter's Azure Data Platform.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to produce testable, maintainable, and high-quality data solutions.
  • Support the migration of existing legacy solutions onto the Quilter strategic data platform.
  • Contribute to the adoption of a standard data solution methodology across the organisation.
  • Act as a technical lead for a release, ensuring quality, best practice, and continuous improvements drive decisions.
Requirements
  • Extensive technical knowledge in key areas such as Azure Data Services, Spark, and Python.
  • Experience with data pipelines, DevOps, and integration design and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of data visualisation tools such as Tableau, QlikView, and Power BI.
  • Ability to develop analytical use cases using Spark programming in Python and one other language.
