About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nursing Associate to join our Community Mental Health Team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a Keyworker within the multidisciplinary team, managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.
  • Develop care plans and deliver evidence-based interventions and treatments to patients, alongside managing risks in the community.
  • Undertake the role of team duty worker, managing unplanned patient work, responding to escalation of risk/crisis situations, and triaging new referrals.

Requirements
  • Nursing Associate Foundation Degree.
  • On-going registration with the NMC.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development that supports clinical practice.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments.
  • Can demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health.
  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs.
  • Working experience within acute Mental Health Services.
