Nurse Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Associate to join our team at Barrow Together Primary Care Network.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a wound clinic setting, working closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.
The role will involve undertaking various duties, including doppler assessments, ensuring adequate stock levels, and maintaining accurate documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wound care and be able to work independently, with the ability to seek advice and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake all duties in line with training and instruction provided by the Practice Nurse and General Practitioners.
- Conduct doppler assessments, subject to training, knowledge, and experience.
- Ensure adequate stock levels in the stock room specific to wound care.
- Maintain adequate infection control procedures in the treatment room.
- Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient healthcare.
- Have the ability to understand when to seek advice and refer patients to other healthcare professionals.
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- Portfolio of learning in relation to knowledge and experience acquired whilst completing Nursing Associate course.
- Wound care qualification.
- Experience of working within Primary care.
