Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate detailed design and implementation of projects throughout the construction phase, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  2. Client Advice: Provide highways, infrastructure, and drainage advice to private and local authority clients, utilizing your expertise in flood risk, infrastructure, and highways design.
  3. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing strong time management skills and calculated project management to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Financial Management: Support financial and commercial management through effective project management, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the required standards.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery and high-quality results.
  6. Professional Development: Maintain Chartered status and continue to develop your skills and knowledge in civil engineering, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Chartered status with at least 8-10 years of commercial experience in civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of legal processes, planning, design, design software, and drainage schemes, including SUDS and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with relevant design codes, such as sewers for adoption, SUDS manual, water industry act, and water environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including MicroDrainage & AutoCAD.
