About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our team at Velindre Cancer Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, contributing to the development of clinical services, and participating in research and education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical services, including the Acute Oncology Service and the Assessment Unit
  • Participate in research and education initiatives, including clinical trials and teaching
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Specialist registration in Clinical Oncology or equivalent
  • Experience in clinical oncology, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
