About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to join our team at Velindre University NHS Trust. As a Clinical Oncology Specialist Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services to patients with cancer and haematological conditions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical oncology and aseptic services, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and develop your skills in clinical trials and aseptic services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the pharmaceutical service to Velindre NHS Trust
  • Assist the Chief Pharmacist and Principal Pharmacists in ensuring the service is safe and efficient
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop skills in clinical trials and aseptic services
Requirements
  • Meets all essential criteria as per attached job description/person specification
  • Desirable criteria include experience in oncology/haematology and the ability to speak Welsh
