What You Will Be Doing

Working in close partnership with the Centre Director on all aspects of Centre administration, you will have responsibility for effective operational management of the Centre and its Innovation Lab. You will support the Centre Leadership Team in the delivery of Centre activities (including administration, procurement, contracts, finance, health and safety, event management, planning, and HR) as well as playing a key role in strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements
  1. Possessing extensive management experience and strong leadership skills, you should also have knowledge of HR practices, experience of policy implementation, health and safety regulations, and excellent planning and coordination skills.
  2. A good understanding of finance and budgetary issues, with the ability to support the Centre during a period of change.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities underpinned by excellent computer literacy skills, as well as the ability to work independently to meet multiple deadlines.
  4. A proven ability to interact effectively with and influence colleagues, including developing effective relationships in a collegial culture.
  5. A knowledge and understanding of the higher education sector, including current issues and regulations.
