Job Description

Job Title: Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Environment North team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems, working with multidisciplinary teams, and preparing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems using InfoWorks ICM software
  • Developing solutions and conducting hydraulic analysis and design
  • Preparing and presenting technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams involved in Water Company hydraulic modelling projects
  • Conducting checks on technical reports and calculation outputs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, geography or equivalent
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
  • Substantial experience in modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems following the appropriate standards and specifications
  • Proficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic analysis and design
  • Extensive experience in preparing and presenting technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives

Desirable:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Chartered Membership of relevant professional organisation
  • Ability to coordinate third party suppliers for survey delivery and data collection
