The University of Cambridge is seeking a distinguished academic leader to fill the Slade Professorship of Fine Art. This prestigious position involves delivering a series of public lectures and seminar classes on aspects of the History, Theory, and Practice of Fine Arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a series of public lectures as part of a new scholarly project, with a focus on aspects of the History, Theory, and Practice of Fine Arts.
- Offer up to four additional seminars to the Faculty of Architecture and History of Art during the same period.
- Contribute to the academic community at the University of Cambridge through research, teaching, and service.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Established reputation as a scholar and academic leader in the field of Fine Arts.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
