Theatre Nurse/Trainee Advanced Surgical Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Theatre Nurse/Trainee Advanced Surgical Practitioner to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Orthopaedic Theatre team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and support to patients throughout the peri-operative phase, advocating on their behalf.
- Work collaboratively with theatre teams to ensure safe patient positioning, maintain skin integrity, and deliver high standards of surgical assistant support.
- Ensure the safe and high-quality preparation and monitoring of the environment, including operating tables and specialist equipment.
- Report incidents and escalate concerns through appropriate processes.
- Supervise junior colleagues, unregistered staff, and students.
