Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Visitor to join our team in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our Central Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality health visiting services to families and children in the Hambleton district.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for public health and a commitment to improving the lives of children and families. You will be responsible for delivering our blended model of service delivery, which includes face-to-face and virtual contacts, and will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the physical and mental health needs of families are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver the Healthy Child Programme as part of our team, planning, delivering, and evaluating an efficient and cost-effective service for an identified population.
  • Work with partner agencies in a strategic, creative, and holistic way to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people, and families.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, communities, and other stakeholders to promote health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our service delivery model, ensuring it is responsive to the needs of our population.

**Person Specification:**

  • First-level registered nurse/midwife qualification.
  • Specialist practitioner qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing or equivalent.
