Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Visitor to join our team in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our Central Team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to families and children in the Hambleton district.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for health visiting and a commitment to improving the lives of children and families. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver the Healthy Child Programme as part of a team, planning, delivering, and evaluating an efficient and cost-effective service for an identified population.
  • Work with partner agencies in a strategic, creative, and holistic way to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people, and families.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, communities, and other stakeholders to promote health and wellbeing.

**Requirements:**

  • First-level registered nurse/midwife qualification.
  • Specialist practitioner qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience.
