About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Midweight Designer to join our dynamic team at The Crowd in London. As a key member of our design team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from commercial to retrofit, and contribute to the development of innovative design solutions.

As a Midweight Designer, you will be responsible for contributing to design and concept development, working collaboratively with senior designers, technical designers, and external consultants to deliver successful project outcomes. You will also be expected to participate in client meetings, present ideas, and gather feedback to support the design development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine design concepts, working closely with senior designers and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
  • Manage specific project stages, ensuring all design elements align with the overall vision and client expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative approach when working with team members, senior designers, and external consultants to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Present design ideas and gather feedback from clients and team members to support the design development process.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design strategies to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
  • Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and documentation to support project deliverables.
Key Skills:
  • An adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative and high-quality project work, ideally within commercial, office, or retrofit sectors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design ideas to both clients and team members.
  • Highly organised, with strong time management skills to handle multiple project tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential; experience in Revit is desirable but not mandatory.
