Objective of the Role
The primary objective of this position is to oversee and effectively execute multiple significant projects that are integral to the broader Churchill Estates Management (CEM) Enhancement Strategy. This role is designed to assist the Managing Director in refining CEM's operational processes.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial to explore and implement new revenue opportunities for the organization.
Success in this role is defined by the completion of projects within established cost, quality, timeline, and scope parameters, ensuring full endorsement from affected business units and a seamless transition into routine operations.
The projects will be managed utilizing established project management methodologies, with a strong emphasis on planning, reporting, budget oversight, and risk/issue management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Relationships
Essential relationships for this role include:
CEM Managing Director as the primary advocate for the Enhancement StrategyKey business stakeholders (Directors and Heads of departments)Group ICT Team (as stakeholders and vital delivery partners)Training AcademyKey suppliersCore Responsibilities
Identification and evaluation of projectsPlanning and defining project scopeEstablishing deliverables, tasks, and sequencing (dependency management)Project scheduling (including estimation)Execution and oversight of projectsProject handover and closureIdentifying, securing, and managing project resourcesMonitoring and reporting on progress
Work Environment
The primary location for all projects will be the Churchill Estates Management (CEM) Head Office in Ringwood, Hampshire. However, there may be occasional travel to Lodges or to meet with key suppliers, all within the UK.
Standard working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, with a one-hour lunch break each day. The Project Manager is expected to demonstrate flexibility in alignment with the responsibilities of the role, which may include working additional hours during critical periods.
