Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable pharmacist to join our team in the Outpatient Pharmacy at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of our pharmacy team, you will play a key role in providing various pharmaceutical services, including issuing prescriptions, offering advice as needed, collaborating with pharmacists, technicians, and dispensers, and ensuring all pharmacy tasks adhere to legal guidelines and departmental procedures to meet our customers' requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care that aligns with patients' and their families' needs and expectations
  • Ensure the delivery of pharmaceutical services in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and dispensers to achieve team goals
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care

Requirements

  • MPharm degree or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and education, clearly documented in your current professional profile
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Demonstrated credibility and the capacity to be an inspiring role model for pharmacy and clinical staff, fostering confidence in others

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy
  • Experience in NHS clinical services, including delivering Clinical Pharmacy Services and providing education and training
  • Previous involvement in team-based pharmacy work, such as in the dispensary or on hospital wards
