About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Outpatient Pharmacy Department at our Basingstoke site. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients, working closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Dispensers to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the provision of a range of pharmaceutical services, including issuing prescriptions and providing advice to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy team to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of practice to fulfill mandatory continuing professional development.

Requirements

  • Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy.
  • Computer literate.
