Injection Mould Setter Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of injection moulded components, is seeking a skilled Injection Mould Setter to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the moulding process, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor production processes to ensure optimal running conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform tooling changeovers and resolve machine-related production/quality issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide efficient end-of-shift handovers and maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
  • Produce high-quality moulded products and assist with the start-up and shutdown of the extrusion lines.
  • Monitor and maintain quality in accordance with specifications and use fork trucks and manual means to move raw materials and finished products.
  • Perform tool trials and help achieve optimum production levels.
  • Assist other moulding setters and operators and make every effort to minimize moulded product scrap.
  • Measure and record quality checks and monitor product quality throughout each shift.
  • Follow and understand operating procedures and setting sheets for moulded products.
  • Inform the Production Manager immediately of any breaches of the works rules.

  • Machine Efficiencies
  • House Keeping
